Kelsey's Crossing
Kelsey’s Crossing is for those who believe that forgiveness and redemption are virtuous, that bad guys can change, and that rooting for the underdog against all odds never goes out of style.

When Greg Smith begins volunteering at the Kelsey Rescue Mission, the homeless men who live there think of him as merely a nice fellow serving meals at the cafeteria window. What they do not know is that Greg was once one of Washington’s most powerful political operatives, who was recently released from prison for committing serious federal crimes related to election fraud, tax evasion, and money laundering. Wanting only to turn his life around and live a quiet life, Greg reluctantly agrees to direct the Mission’s voter referendum campaign against the city’s efforts to stop the Mission from expanding.
As the campaign intensifies and erupts into a violent murder, Greg and his men help prevent further unrest and restore calm to the city. Their success in keeping the peace earns Kelsey national respect. As a result, the president invites the Mission residents to Washington, where they visit the White House and testify before Congress, where a shocking political twist determines their fate and thousands of other homeless citizens.
In this fast-moving story, Kelsey’s Crossing reminds us that while we must all live with our past, it does not need to define our future, especially when we possess the courage to cross to the other side when the gift of a second chance is offered.
